Closed Programs with Active Projects
Canadian Agricultural Partnership
CAP cost-share funding assistance is merit-based, and funding amounts are individually established based on the 19 new and updated project categories. Cost-share funding will support targeted projects in three priority areas, with research and innovation continuing to be important across all areas.
Canadian Food Innovators Cluster Project
The Canadian Food Innovators (CFI-ICA) are supporting innovative research by leading an Agri-Science cluster project. The knowledge gained through this cluster is expected to lead to commercial applications of new processes and new products in the food and beverage processing industry across Canada.
COHA Science Cluster III (2018-2023)
The Canadian Ornamental Horticultural Alliance is leading a Science Cluster project, approved under AAFC’s AgriScience Program – Clusters Component. A total of ten research projects have been funded under the Accelerating Green Plant Innovation for Environmental and Economic Benefit Cluster.
Greenhouse Competitiveness and Innovation Initiative
The objective of the Greenhouse Competitiveness and Innovation Initiative (GCII) is to increase sector competitiveness, by providing broad-based support that fosters innovation and investment in the sector.
Greenhouse Renewable Energy Technologies R&D Initiative
The Agricultural Adaptation Council (AAC) is issuing the $1 million Greenhouse Renewable Energy Technologies (GRET) R&D Initiative call for proposals to support innovative research and development projects that focus on renewable energy technologies for the Ontario greenhouse sector.
